About Dita Von Teese
Heather Renée Sweet, professionally known as Dita Von Teese, was born on September 28, 1972, and has made a name for herself as a vedette, burlesque dancer, model, and businesswoman. She is widely credited with the modern revival of burlesque, earning the title of “Queen of Burlesque.” Dita has graced the screen in television shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and The Masked Dancer, among others.
In addition to her burlesque performances, Dita has authored two books on burlesque history, fetishism, and beauty, and she has toured internationally, with performances in cities like London, Berlin, New York, and Paris. She has been a special guest at the Parisian cabaret venue Crazy Horse and served as a global ambassador for Cointreau and the face of Perrier.
