“We opted for the director’s seats, which I highly recommend. But you just realize how steep The Sphere is until your there. These seats undoubtedly offer the best view in the house. The Sphere is not just a venue; it’s a spectacle transforming how you experience entertainment.”

Sphere 306 Section las Vegas Reviews

The big question is, “Is it worth it?” In my opinion, yes. Mainly due to its cutting-edge technology. The visuals, show, and sound system are unmatched. I got VIP tickets to see Postcard From Earth. If you are on a budget, stick with tickets adjacent to section 306. Even the cheapest seats are guaranteed a great show. Section 306 is the director’s view, or simply the VIP section. At the beginning of the movie, the screen starts small, and later, the whole sphere becomes a movie screen. The seats rumble, and there’s fans for an added emersive experience. So, with the VIP ticket, you get a 15-minute early entry. They were very unorganized, late to let us in, and then you have to get thru security. I will say that the VIP entrance did have shade while waiting in the hot sun to enter. It is a shame that only a handful of people are able to enteract with Aurora, the Android. When the crowds make it in, she goes into demo mode. She was fun to watch interacting with people. She’s creepy and fascinating at the same time. We had time to create an avatar. Hopefully, that experience will improve with time. I was hoping to be turned into an avatar, but ultimately, you are videoed with an avatar background. There’s about an hour of exploring before the show seating is opened. Plenty of food, drinks, and souvenirs to purchase. It is expensive. Part of the VIP experience is also getting a free Sphere t-shirt. There’s also a lounge with free appetizers and drinks, including alcohol. Tho they really didn’t have enough seating for everyone in the lounge. They at least need more bar tables for those grabbing food and drinks. The stadium seating is fairly steep, but that eliminates others in front of you, blocking your view. I do not know if the VIP seats were any different from the other sections, but my seat was very comfortable and roomy. There are cup holders on the back of the seat in front of you. You are able to bring in food and drinks. We also lucked out with empty seats all around us. I picked seats in the very back row. We didn’t have to navigate the steep staircase. When the show is done, they try to get hundreds of people out as soon as possible. It is a clean and shiny new venue. Everyone working here was friendly and welcoming.- John Hannan

Phenomenal is all I can say. Defied my imagination. Sat in section 306 great seats. And contrary what I heard, it did not take long at all to exit the building. My only complaint is that the seats are very cramped and im a normal sized guy. My legs kept falling asleep. All I can say is be careful getting down the row and into your seat. I’m certain that people have fallen trying to so.- Thomas

If you have experienced a sensory type of ride/show where the seats vibrate and water is sprayed on the crowd then this is a very similar experience but much more expensive. I fell asleep during the show🤷🏾‍♀️. I think the sphere from the outside is much more attractive and striking than the show inside. If you have never experienced a sensory type show and still want to go then get the cheapest unobstructed seats you can get. The screen is huge and you will be able to see the show just fine without spending over $200 for a seat. If you still want to spend the money on a seat that is hyped as having a good view then get tickets in the 306 or 307 section. My seat was section 306 row 7 seat 7 and I was in the center of the screen. If you sit in the 200 section you will need to look up at the screen rather than straight ahead. Just my two cents 🙂. – antoinette rodney-celestine
